There aren’t many better meals that you can make for yourself in the time it takes to pan fry a steak. It is easy and will take you less than 20 minutes to do.
What You Will Need
- Frying Pan
- Stove
- Steak
- Seasoning
- Butter
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
- Warm up your pan with the extra virgin olive oil on a medium level heat
- While your pan is warming up, prepare the steak by rubbing your choice of seasoning into the steak
- Once your pan is at a good temperature, set the steak into the pan
- For a medium-rare steak (130-135 internal temperature), do 3-4 minutes per side
- If the steak is too thick, you can add an extra minute or two to each side. Holding the steak on it’s side in the pan will help make sure the sides are properly cooked.
- For extra flavor, you can baste the steak with butter and herbs
After cooking, place the steak onto a cutting board and cover it with aluminum foil for 5 minutes.
