This recipe is a crowd favorite!

Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Bring the 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot. Add 2 cups of elbow macaroni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Make the Base: Melt 3 tbsps of butter over low-medium heat. Once melted, whisk in 3 tbsps of all-purpose flour. Cook for 1-2 minutes, continuously stirring, until golden.
- Add Milk: Add 2 cups of milk and cook until the mixture thickens.
- Cheese Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and mix in the 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp of black pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted.
- Add the mixture on top of the macaroni and throw it in the oven at 400 for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy!
